Round #2

So Jacob and I went back for round #2 tonight on our date night. Yes, we skipped the movie to coupon! You would not believe how nervous I was going into this trip.

The mission: 40 bottles of water, 18 toothpaste.(The only reason for the toothpaste is that it helps pay for the tax on the waters).

The scary part is that the store says you can only use 3 coupons per item per transaction. However, 2 other stores let me use as many coupons as I wanted so I wanted to try it anyway. As we are circling the check- outs, profiling the checkers, we spot the manager too close for comfort. I was so nervous she would tell us we couldn't use the 58 coupons I brought in and then we would have to leave the store in shame, empty- handed.

I spotted a young teen, the perfect candiate checker, since they could care less about coupons and ran to his checkout line, as far away from the manager as possible.

He checked me out, no problem and the grand total for all this.....33 cents!

The Walgreens trip was another story, I'll update y'all on that later...
