I went in yesterday to do the makeup deal I posted yesterday. I was very excited about it because most of it was going to be Christmas presents.
But I was semi-excited about it once I left bc I was charged $7 and got $3 in RR. So yes $30 of makeup for $4 is great, but not the deal I thought it was.
So when I got home, my "School of Mines, Smarter than Anyone I Know" husband said that the makeup wasn't ringing up as 40% off and that's why the deal wasn't right.
So I woke up at 5am, brought my makeup back to the 24 hour Walgreens (in order not to make people wait) to get my makeup deal right!
Well, long story short, the cashier was NOT nice....made me cry...made me feel like I was stealing makeup just because after coupons I was getting it for almost free....and ended up messing the deal up again. So I just left, tears and all, with only half of my makeup.
My sweet husband had to console me over my bad makeup deal....so Walgreens, as ridiculous as this sounds....getting upset over makeup....you've won for now. But I'll be back....just not when THAT cashier is on duty.
I really think you, Amy & myself need to go have a talk to management. Amy & I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago. We went very late at night, were the only ones in the store and the cashier was a total jerk. I also felt like a thief or a scam artist, which is insane, because the Manuf reimburses them for the coupons! Ugh! Feel your pain, sorry they made you cry. Lucky for them it wasn't me, I would've been not nice back.
